The afternoon included a visit to Foam Photography Museum followed by a photography workshop and the 2011 General Meeting. The photography workshop was led by Patricia Ribas, a very talented photographer. The move from Brazil to the Netherlands gave her the inspiration to pursue a more creative career; she then enrolled at the Photo Academy in Amsterdam and graduated in 2005. For the past years she has participated in numerous exhibitions inside and outside the country and has worked on a wide range of assignments. She also helps organise and curate exhibitions and teaches regularly at the Treehouse Gallery in Amsterdam. People are the main subject of Patricia’s work, either in her portraits or in the staged photographs taken in different landscapes.
During the General Assembly we got the chance to hear our members’ ideas on how to make HUTAC an even better and stronger organisation, responsive to the needs and interests of all its members. The new HUTAC Board was elected and afterwards we went out for drinks and got the opportunity to know each other better.
