Biography
Jan Donner is the President of the Executive Board of the Royal Tropical Institute. The Royal Tropical Institute is an independent centre of knowledge and expertise in the areas of international and intercultural cooperation, operating at the interface between theory and practice, and between policy and implementation. The institute contributes to sustainable development, poverty alleviation and cultural preservation and change. Mr. Donner has held various prominent positions within the academic world as well as the health industry. He was a member of the Executive Board of ‘Vrije Universiteit’ and Director of Santpoort Hospital. He has also actively taken part in various board positions in the education sector. He is also involved with CERES Research School and is Chair of the Development Policy Review Network (DPRN).
