Tackling shared challenges in the public sector

The public sector is a precarious world, where communal funds are devoted to large projects affecting the lives of millions of people. The management of public organisations is therefore a tremendously complicated task, which is getting more multifaceted as the world is growing ever more complex and budgets are shrinking. What are the main challenges faced by large players in the public sector and how are trade-offs being made between the costs for all and the benefits for some?
