Biography
Amrita is an Amsterdam-based marketing consultant with a background in innovation and consumer research, and experience in multiple industries, including FMCG, sustainable packaging, chemical and lighting. After studying Industrial Design in India, she moved to the Netherlands in 2007 to pursue a Master’s degree in Strategic Product Design and an Honour’s degree in Design Research at TU Delft. Amrita’s current role gives her the opportunity to collaborate with a wide network of multinational clients to reach valuable consumer insights across a variety of industries and geographical markets.
She was fortunate to receive the HSP Huygens scholarship in the second year of her study, which opened up a world of career and travel opportunities. She looks forward to giving back – by contributing to the organisation and strengthening the HUTAC network.
She is very interested in what makes people tick and considers herself very fortunate in experiencing multiple cultures through both her career and personal life. She is passionate about design, urban farming and the power of community to affect change. In her down time, she loves to read, garden and travel.
